Abstract:
Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer programs for updating a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) reordering window are disclosed. In one aspect, a method can include, receiving, by a PDCP receiver, a discard indication indicating one or more PDCP PDUs as discarded PDUs, determining, by the PDCP receiver, whether a reordering timer is running, and based on a determination that the reordering timer is running, updating, by the PDCP receiver, an upper end of the reordering window to a first value that is determined by adjusting a value of a first state variable based on a number of subsequently discarded PDUs.
