Title:
PEDAL ACTUATION DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/018463
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pedal actuation detector that electrically detects the amount of pedal on the basis of the distortion of an elastic body, and enables a simple and inexpensive configuration while ensuring a specified detection precision. A vertical sensor rod (46) is integrated into an elastic body (44) attached to an operation pedal (16) by means of a bracket (42). The sensor rod (46) is coupled to a rocking lever (20) by means of a compression coil spring (48), enabling a structure that can be configured simply and inexpensively. In addition, since a brake counterforce (R) is transmitted from the rocking lever (20) to the sensor rod (46) through the compression coil spring (48), the invention can more effectively ensure a specified detection precision by inhibiting noise input from sources such as engine vibrations, than pedal actuation detection done on the basis of rocking lever (20) distortion.
