Abstract:
This pellet contains an olefin-based polymer A and a polymer B. The polymer B is a polyhydroxy alkanoate-based polymer having a melting point of 150°C or higher. An image obtained through observation, using a scanning electron microscope, of a cross section that includes the center of the pellet and that is parallel to the axis of the pellet satisfies requirement (1) and requirement (2). Requirement (1): The olefin-based polymer A forms a dispersed phase and the polymer B forms a continuous phase. Requirement (2): The number of dispersed phases, observed in an observation area of 1200 μm2, having a length of at least 5 μm in the axial direction of the pellet is three or more.
