Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a monitoring device that detects obstacles in the surroundings of a hydraulic excavator and outputs obstacle information; and a controller that calculates a penetration-forbidden region set on the basis of the result of a comparison of the movable range of the hydraulic excavator and the monitoring range of the monitoring device, and calculates an operation-limiting command for limiting the operation of the hydraulic excavator in accordance with the obstacle information from the monitoring device. This makes it possible to appropriately set the penetration-forbidden region and to suppress detection failure or incorrect detection.
