Abstract:
A peptide which is a fragment of the whole protein of HIV, the fragment having a sequence of 8 to 11 consecutive amino acid residues, corresponds to an HLA-binding motif, is in fact bound to HLA, and can induce a killer cell that targets HIV-infected cells. It is efficacious as an AIDS preventive or remedy.
