Title:
PEPTIDE LIGATION USING ENZYME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/048262
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: a method for producing a ligated peptide, characterized by forming an amide bond between the C-terminal of a donor peptide substrate (donor substrate) and the N-terminal of an acceptor peptide substrate (acceptor substrate) using a penicillin-binding-protein-type thioesterase (PBP-type TE) as a catalyst; and a method for producing a modified peptide, characterized by forming an amide bond between the C-terminal of a donor substrate containing a modification group and the N-terminal of an acceptor substrate using a PBP-type TE as a catalyst.
