Abstract:
Disclosed are a compound represented by the formula (I) below, a lubricant using the compound, and a magnetic disk using the compound. A-(CH2-Rf-CH2O-B-O)n-CH2-Rf-CH2-A (I) In the formula, n represents a real number of 1-4; A represents a group represented by the formula (a) below; and B represents a group represented by the formula (b) below. In this connection, p is 1 or 2, and R represents a C1-4 fluoroalkyl group. Examples of Rf may include -CF2O(CF2CF2O)x(CF2O)yCF2- and -CF2CF2O(CF2CF2CF2O)zCF2CF2-, wherein x, y and z respectively represent a real number of 0-50.
