Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention is provided with a stimulus presentation unit disposed so as to be in contact with a user's skin at interaction sites, and a performance assistance control device connected to the stimulus presentation unit. The performance assistance control device acquires Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) data generated in a time series in response to a musical instrument being played, generates a stimulus control signal that indicates movements recommended for the interaction sites, and outputs the generated stimulus control signal to the stimulus presentation unit. In response, the stimulus presentation unit induces, in accordance with the stimulus control signal, shear deformation of the skin in a direction corresponding to the movement indicated by the stimulus control signal.
