Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a first position identification unit (101) and a second position identification unit (102) that identify the position of a detection point of an obstruction from a detection result from a first sonar (21) and a second sonar (22); a position updating unit (131) that, for a position group of sequentially identified detection points, updates the positions in accordance with a change in the position of a host vehicle; a storage processing unit (132) that, at the time of parking, stores the updated position group of detection points in a nonvolatile memory (142); and a position estimation unit (15) that, at the time of starting subsequent to parking, uses the position group of detection points stored in the nonvolatile memory (142) to estimate the position of a detection point existing in a blind spot between the first sonar (21) and the second sonar (22) at the time of starting.
