Abstract:
A permanent current switch comprising a superconducting wire material, a heater, and an insulating member. The superconducting wire material includes a base material and a superconducting layer provided upon the base material. The superconducting layer includes a first main surface facing the base material and a second main surface on the opposite side to the first main surface. The heater is arranged only on the second main surface side of the superconducting layer. The insulating material is provided between the second main surface of the superconducting layer and the heater.
