Abstract:
A permanent magnet manufacturing method, according to an embodiment of the present invention, includes: a heating step in which a magnetizing permanent magnet, that applies a magnetizing magnetic field to an object-to-be-magnetized, arranges a plurality of arrayed field parts at prescribed intervals near the object-to-be-magnetized and increases the temperature of the object-to-be-magnetized to a temperature equal to or greater than the Curie point of the object-to-be-magnetized; and a magnetization step in which the object-to-be-magnetized having reached a temperature equal to or greater than said Curie point is decreased in temperature to a temperature lower than said Curie point, and the magnetizing magnetic field continues to be applied to the object-to-be-magnetized by the field parts. The magnetizing permanent magnet is an isotropic SmCo sintered magnet having a prescribed shape.
