Abstract:
Disclosed is a permanent magnet switched reluctance electric motor with a special-shaped pole piece iron core. The permanent magnet switched reluctance electric motor is characterized in that an excitation salient pole pair on a stator is composed of a special-shaped pole piece iron core and an excitation coil; two salient pole arc-shaped pole pieces of the special-shaped pole piece iron core are each composed of pole piece wide portions (11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 30, 35, 37, 40) and pole piece narrow portions (12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 31, 36, 38, 41); the pole piece narrow portions (12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 31, 36, 38, 41) of two adjacent special-shaped pole piece iron cores of the excitation salient pole pair on a stator base (103) are arranged in a staggered manner; and there is a gap between the pole piece narrow portions (12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 31, 36, 38, 41) of the two adjacent special-shaped pole piece iron cores of the excitation salient pole pair. The electric motor can increase the inductance in the excitation coil during excitation current reversal and conduction, reduce the current impact during reversal, avoid the demagnetization of a permanent magnet, and can also improve the torque output during current reversal. The permanent magnet on a rotor can smoothly pass through the staggered overlap area of the pole piece narrow portions, thereby reducing the torque fluctuation of the electric motor. By means of an electric motor parameter optimization design, a higher torque output can be achieved using a less expensive permanent magnet material so as to improve the utilization of the permanent magnet material.
