Abstract:
A personal information providing apparatus (100) comprises: a policy storing unit (102) for storing an approved privacy policy; a policy temporarily-storing unit (104) for temporarily storing an unapproved policy; a policy managing unit (108) for managing policy storage locations by recording the policy storage locations into a policy management table storing unit (106); a searching unit (110) for referring to the policy management table storing unit (106) to search for a policy concerned; a policy creating unit (112) for automatically creating a new policy when the policy concerned is not existent; a policy provisionally-registering unit (114) for provisionally registering the created policy with the policy temporarily-storing unit (104); an instruction accepting unit (116) for presenting the provisionally registered policy to the user to recognize whether the provisionally registered policy is applicable or not; and a policy registering unit (118) for registering a user approved policy with the policy storing unit (102).
