Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a method whereby various kinds of pests can be controlled, even at a low chemical dosage, without any problem in terms of safety; and a pest control agent composition and a pest control agent set suited for use in said method. The pest control method of the present invention applies, to a target, an insecticidal or miticidal active ingredient and at least one type of compound selected from a compound represented by formula (I) (wherein, R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C6 alkylthio group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C6 alkylsulfinyl group, or the like, R2 is a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C6 alkyl group, R is a C1 to C6 haloalkyl group or a C2 to C6 haloalkenyl group, X is a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C6 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C6 alkenyl group, or the like, and n is any integer from 0 to 4; when n is greater than or equal to 2, each X may be mutually the same or different) and salts thereof.
