Abstract:
The present invention provides a PET-PEN copolymer composition comprising fluorenylidene bis(2-phenoxyethanol) (FBPE) and a method for preparing the same, the method comprising the steps of: melting a PET-PEN copolymer at a temperature of 200-350℃; and adding 1-20 mol% of FBPE to the molten PET-PEN copolymer, followed by kneading. The PET-PEN copolymer composition comprising FBPE according to the present invention has very suitable characteristics for the application in the industrial fields associated with professional products requiring a high degree of transparency as well as mechanical rigidity, such as, especially, optical films and optical lenses.
