Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising Vaccinia virus and hydroxyurea as active ingredients for prevention or treatment of cancer. The pharmaceutical composition comprising Vaccinia virus and hydroxyurea as active ingredients for treatment of cancer according to the present invention exhibits higher anticancer effects and safety than the conventional administration of Vaccinia virus alone. Therefore, the pharmaceutical composition comprising Vaccinia virus and hydroxyurea as active ingredients according to the present invention can be advantageously used for treating cancer.
