Title:
PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING PEROXIREDOXIN 1 PROTEIN ACTIVITY INHIBITOR AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING BONE DISEASE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/143615
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing a peroxiredoxin 1 protein activity inhibitor as an active ingredient for preventing or treating a bone disease. Specifically, the peroxiredoxin 1 protein of the present invention induces the differentiation of preosteoclasts, and an antibody against the peroxiredoxin 1 protein inhibits the increase of osteoclasts induced by lipopolysaccharides and the bone loss in a bone loss animal model, so that the peroxiredoxin 1 protein activity inhibitor can be advantageously utilized in the prevention or treatment of a bone disease.
