Abstract:
The present invention provides a bi-layer tablet having increased stability and a manufacturing method therefor, the bi-layer tablet comprising sustained-release sarpogrelate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A sustained-release bi-layer tablet having increased stability, comprising sarpogrelate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, according to the present invention, includes both an immediate-release layer and a sustained-release layer, thereby exerting the rapid therapeutic effect of an immediate-release tablet and enhancing patient's convenience by the increased duration of drug efficacy. Further, the bi-layer tablet has advantages in that there is little concern of deterioration during long-term storage owing to excellent stability, and quality control (QC) during production is easy, and can reduce manufacturing costs by shortening the time of the manufacturing process.
