Abstract:
An embodiment of the present specification provides a pharmacovigilance signal generation method, characterized by comprising: determining a category of a target drug in a preset drug classification system and an adverse reaction description relating to an indication of the drug; acquiring the number of adverse reaction reports corresponding to the category and the indication in the preset drug classification system; and generating, by means of the number of the adverse reaction reports and on the basis of a disproportionality measurement technique, a pharmacovigilance signal corresponding to the adverse reaction description for the target drug. In this way, associations between drugs and adverse reactions are attained by means of pharmacovigilance signals. The technical method enables researchers to quickly and accurately calculate a pharmacovigilance signal and prepare for subsequent analysis.
