Abstract:
The present invention improves, as compared with a conventional insulation construction to ground, a long-term reliability with a phase ring (1) for connecting the armature windings of a rotating electric machine at a stator end portion and a structure in which a metal support structure (2) is disposed on the phase ring outer diameter side and an insulator (3) for ensuring an insulation distance to ground is inserted between the phase ring (1) and the metal support structure (2). The phase ring (1) and the metal support structure (2) are also constructed with an insulation thickness less than or equal to a thickness necessary for insulation to ground by ensuring the insulation distance to ground by the insulator (3), thereby enabling to improve the cooling performance of the phase ring (1) and the metal support structure (2). In addition, the occurrence of induction current occurring in the metal support structure (2) is suppressed, and a simple fastening structure such as, for example, a metal bolt (4) is applicable to a stator frame (5).
