Abstract:
In order to provide a phase shifter or the like that can be stably controlled independent of the environmental temperature, this phase shifter comprises a 90-degree hybrid circuit and a variable-length stub group that includes two variable-length stubs connected to the 90-degree hybrid circuit. The variable-length stubs each comprise: a first switch that is connected to the 90-degree hybrid circuit and includes vanadium dioxide of a first composition that phase transitions in a first phase transition temperature range; a first stub that is connected to the first switch; a second switch that is connected to the first stub and includes vanadium dioxide of a second composition that phase transitions in a second phase transition temperature range higher than the first phase transition temperature range; and a second stub that is connected to the second switch and has an end grounded.
