Abstract:
Compounds of the general formula (I) or salts thereof; and drugs containing the compounds or the salts: (I) [wherein R?1¿ is optionally substituted phenyl, pyridyl, or the like; R?2¿ is lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, lower alkylsulfinyl, lower alkylsulfonyl, or the like; R?3¿ is hydrogen, lower alkoxy, or the like; and R?4¿ is hydrogen, substituted alkyl, or the like]. The compounds exhibit an excellent interleukin 1ß production inhibiting activity and are useful as preventive and therapeutic drugs for immunologic diseases, inflammatory diseases, ischemic disease, and so on.
