Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a phononic material which has at least one of the physical properties of magnetism and electro-conductivity of the constituent substance varied from the physical properties inherent to the constituent substance; and a method for producing same. [Solution] This phononic material 1 is characterized by having a cyclic structure in which a structure 3 is cyclically arranged in a regular pattern in a constituent substance 2, and at least one of the physical properties of magnetism and electro-conductivity of the constituent substance 2 in the cyclic structure differs from the physical properties inherent to the constituent substance when compared at room temperature. The fact that the physical properties of the constituent substance 2 change before and after cooling is used.
