Title:
PHOSPHORESCENT SUBSTANCE AND PHOSPHORESCENT ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/105633
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a phosphorescent substance that comprises an electron donor molecule, which comes into a stable radical cationic state, and an electron acceptor molecule, which comes into a stable radical anionic state. After light irradiation of the phosphorescent substance is stopped, luminescence is observed at 10 K. The disclosed phosphorescent substance of the invention, which may consist only of organic compounds, can emit afterglow for a long time without requiring the use of any rare-earth element.
