Abstract:
This photodetector is equipped with a plurality of detection units (2) which have a SPAD (4) that responds to photon incidence. One or more of the plurality of detection units is configured in a manner such that after the SPAD responds to the photon incidence, the recovery time until it is next possible to respond is different from the recovery time of the SPAD of one or more separate detection units among the plurality of detection units.
