Abstract:
This photodetector comprises a substrate (101), a dielectric layer (102), a first electrode (103) composed of metal, a core (104), a second electrode (105), and a light-absorbing layer (106) composed of graphene. A hybrid plasmonic waveguide is configured from the first electrode (103), the core (104), and the dielectric layer (102). The light-absorbing layer (106) is disposed on the hybrid plasmonic waveguide. Light guided by the hybrid plasmonic waveguide is absorbed by the light-absorbing layer (106), photoelectrically converted through a PTE effect, and collected as an electric signal by the first electrode (103) and the second electrode (105).
