Abstract:
The present invention relates to a photoelectric composite connector and an adaptor. The photoelectric composite connector comprises: a body, wherein a cavity passing from front to back is provided in the body, a ferrule is mounted in the cavity, at least two terminal grooves are also provided in the body, the two terminal grooves are located on the same side of the cavity, an isolation wall is provided between the two terminal grooves, an opening is also provided in the outer surface of the body, the opening and the terminal grooves are located on the same side of the cavity, the opening communicates with the terminal grooves, and the opening passes through a front end surface of the body; and at least two conductive terminals correspondingly accommodated in the terminal grooves, respectively, wherein the conductive terminals are exposed to the opening. According to the photoelectric composite connector and the adaptor of the invention, both optical transmission and electrical transmission can be achieved by means of one connector, and the problems of complex operation and large apparatus size caused by respectively providing an optical connector and an electrical connector to achieve optical and electrical connection and transmission are solved.
