Abstract:
The present technology relates to a photographing device, an image processing method, and a program which make it possible to suppress increase in cost. A control unit performs extraction control for extracting, from a photographed image photographed by an image sensor which performs photographing, a first image displayed by a first display unit and a second image displayed by a second display unit. A data amount adjustment unit adjusts, in accordance with vehicle information acquired from a vehicle, a data amount of the first image and the second image. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a viewing system for displaying an image including the rear of a vehicle.
