Abstract:
A photography apparatus and a detection and start method thereof. The method comprises: receiving a PIR sensor trigger instruction and collecting a picture; performing image recognition on the collected picture to determine whether a pre-set object exists in the picture; when the pre-set object exists in the picture, controlling a camera to start video recording; and when the pre-set object does not exist in the picture, returning to receiving a PIR sensor trigger instruction. In the present invention, the accuracy of detection is promoted by integrating two detection manners, a PIR sensor and image recognition, thus saving power for a photography apparatus and improving the accuracy of giving an alarm, improving the user experience while saving power and energy.
