Abstract:
Disclosed is an photography system comprising a camera having a first communication unit, and a photography lighting device having a second communication unit. The camera wirelessly transmits a first signal indicating a preliminary flash preceding the main flash at shooting from the first communication unit of the camera to the second communication unit of the photography lighting device; the photography lighting device wirelessly transmits a second signal, which indicates the reception of the first signal and includes flash timing information for the preliminary flash, from the second communication unit of the photography lighting device to the first communication unit of the camera; the camera begins photometric processing during the preliminary flash on the basis of the flash timing information.
