Abstract:
Provided are a photoreceptor for electrophotography, a method for manufacturing the same, and an electrophotography device, the photoreceptor having high sensitivity, low residual potential, and no optical fatigue, and having adequate contamination resistance. The photoreceptor for electrophotography has at least a photosensitive layer on an electroconductive substrate. The outermost surface layer of the photoreceptor includes at least a resin binder and an electron transport material, the resin binder containing a polyarylate resin having the structural unit represented in chemical structural formula 1, and the electron transport material containing a compound that has the structure represented in general formula (ET2). Chemical structural formula 1 (In chemical structural formula 1, the partial structural formulas (A1), (A2), (B1), (B2), (C), (D), (E), and (F) indicate structural units constituting the resin binder.) (In (ET2), R32-R37 indicate the same or different hydrogen atoms, etc.)
