Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a photoreceptor for electrophotography which has high light responsiveness, retains stable electrical properties even when repeatedly used, and has high durability.
[Solution] A photoreceptor for electrophotography which comprises a conductive base and a photosensitive layer formed thereon. The photosensitive layer comprises a resin binder, a charge transport material, and an additive, wherein the resin binder comprises a polycarbonate resin constituted of a copolymer that is made up of structural units represented by general formula (1) and structural units represented by general formula (2), the charge transport material comprises at least one stilbene compound represented by general formula (3), (4), or (5), and the additive comprises at least one diester compound represented by general formula (6).
