Abstract:
This physical property value measurement system comprises: an acquisition unit which acquires measurement results obtained by optical coherence tomography at three or more wavelengths; an attenuation coefficient calculation unit which calculates an attenuation coefficient at each wavelength, on the basis of the measurement results; an unknown coefficient calculation unit which calculates two or more unknown coefficients included in a first function representing the wavelength dependence of a scattering coefficient inside a subject and one or more unknown coefficients included in a second function representing the wavelength dependence of an absorption coefficient inside the subject, and calculates an unknown coefficient that minimizes the sum of the differences at each wavelength between the theoretical value of the attenuation coefficient calculated on the basis of the unknown coefficient and the measured value of the attenuation coefficient calculated by the attenuation coefficient calculation unit; and a physical property value calculation unit which calculates the scattering coefficient by means of the first function, on the basis of the calculated unknown coefficient, and calculates the absorption coefficient by means of the second function. Thus, provided is a physical property value measurement system capable of obtaining a scattering coefficient and an absorption coefficient on the basis of OCT measurement results.
