Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a sensor signal output device wherein the reception-side device is able to receive accurate sensor signals by outputting the sensor signals when the sensors are operating normally and by not outputting the sensor signals but outputting the sensor operation status during sensor malfunction or during abnormal operation. The sensor signal output device is provided with: sensors for detecting physical quantities; a diagnostic unit for diagnosing the working status of the sensors; and a communication unit for transmitting the sensor detection results and the diagnostic results of the diagnostic unit. The communication unit selects the sensor detection results when the sensors are determined to be working normally, and selects and outputs a signal representing the sensor operation status when the sensors are determined not to be working normally.
