Abstract:
A physical quantity detection device (30) is provided with: a plurality of neural network circuits including a first neural network circuit (41) that receives, as input, a first detection signal according to a first physical quantity and a second detection signal according to a second physical quantity different from the first physical quantity and outputs a first processing signal based on the first detection signal, and a second neural network circuit (42) that receives, as input, the first detection signal and the second detection signal and outputs a second processing signal based on the first detection signal; a determination unit (60) that determines whether or not the host device has failed on the basis of the first processing signal and the second processing signal and that, when a failure has been determined, outputs a failure signal indicating the failure of the host device; and an output unit (50) that outputs a signal based on at least one of the plurality of processing signals including the first processing signal and the second processing signal.
