Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent the occurrence of sunspots even when a pixel ADC method is used. [Solution] A physical quantity detection device comprising: a plurality of pixels that each detect a physical quantity; a plurality of limiters that limit the signal level of a physical quantity signal detected at each of the pixels; and a plurality of AD converters that are provided individually to each of the plurality of pixels and convert the physical quantity signals to digital signals by comparing a reference signal with the physical quantity signals of which the signal levels have been limited by the corresponding limiters.
