Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) associated with a random access channel (RACH) procedure, wherein the one or more SSBs are associated with an uplink physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission in a particular time resource. The UE may receive a downlink transmission, which at least partially overlaps with the uplink PRACH transmission, in the particular time resource, wherein the uplink PRACH transmission is dropped to receive the downlink transmission in the particular time resource, and wherein whether a quantity of configured PRACH transmissions includes the dropped PRACH transmission is based at least in part on a parameter.
