Abstract:
This picking possibility determination device is provided with an extracting unit and a determining unit. The extracting unit performs image processing on image data obtained by capturing an image of a plurality of components scattered in a supply region, and extracts from among the plurality of components a target component satisfying a criterion relating to at least an outer shape. The determining unit determines whether, on the basis of the exterior similarity between component images each capturing the target component, it is possible for a mounting head of a component mounting machine to pick the target component.
