Abstract:
This picking system comprises: a workpiece posture calculation unit (4) that calculates a posture of a workpiece (90) from captured-image data acquired from an image capturing unit (41), selects a workpiece (90) to be picked, and determines a grasp position and angle; a robot (2) that grasps and takes out the selected workpiece (90), on the basis of the determination made by the workpiece posture calculation unit (4); a posture change device (3) that changes the posture of a grasped member; and a control unit that, when the determined grasp position and angle differ from a set grasp position and angle, causes the posture change device (3) to hold the workpiece (90) grasped by the robot (2), and rotate the workpiece (90), and then causes the robot (2) to grasp again the workpiece (90) so that the grasp position and angle coincide with the set grasp position and angle.
