Abstract:
Provided are a pickup sensor and a biometric sensor which are compact and are capable of detecting minute vibrations stably, efficiently and with high precision. This pickup sensor is provided with an electro-acoustic converting film comprising a polymer composite piezoelectric body formed by dispersing piezoelectric particles in a viscoelastic matrix comprising a polymer material that is viscoelastic at room temperature, two thin-film electrodes laminated onto the two surfaces of the polymer composite piezoelectric body, and a protective layer laminated onto at least one of the two thin-film electrodes, wherein at least part of a surface of the electro-acoustic converting film is a contacting surface which comes into contact with a subject, and the thin-film electrode on the surface on the opposite side to the contacting surface is grounded.
