Abstract:

Provided are a picture file creating method and a picture file generating device in which a collateral picture serving as collateral information of a main picture can be appropriately generated.　A picture file generating method according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is a picture file creating method for creating a picture file including a main picture and a collateral picture serving as collateral information related to the main picture, comprises: an analysis step of analyzing a subject of the main picture or a subject of a picture taken previously in time to taking of the main picture; a determination step of determining, on the basis of an analysis result obtained by the analysis step, a factor of the picture quality of the collateral picture or a picture angle of the collateral picture; and a generation step of generating the collateral picture on the basis of the factor or picture angle determined in the determination step.
