Abstract:
A piercing tool 10 can pierce a sealing film for sealing an opening portion of a container that contains liquid. The piercing tool 10 comprises: a rod-shaped shaft portion 12 extending from the leading edge side, which pierces the sealing film, to the base end side; and a large diameter portion 14 which is formed in the leading edge portion of the shaft portion 12 and in which the diameter of a circumcircle circumscribing the outer shape of a transverse section thereof perpendicular to the axial direction is larger than the diameter of a circumcircle circumscribing the outer shape of a transverse section of the shaft portion 12. A length L1 between the leading edge of the shaft portion 12 and the end portion of the large diameter portion 14 on the base end side is shorter than a maximum insertion depth L2 of the shaft portion 12 with respect to the container.
