Abstract:
The present invention relates to a piezoelectric energy harvester and, more particularly, to a piezoelectric energy harvester that harvests energy from vibrations of a large-sized apparatus, etc. using a piezoelectric device disposed on a vibration plate connected to an outer frame. A piezoelectric energy harvester, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an outer frame; a vibration plate connected to the outer frame; and a piezoelectric device disposed on one or more of the upper and lower surfaces of the vibration plate, wherein the piezoelectric device includes: a piezoelectric fiber composite structure; and electrode units disposed on one or more of the upper and lower surfaces of the piezoelectric fiber composite structure, wherein the piezoelectric fiber composite structure has a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic rods arranged side by side and connected with each other by an adhesive provided therebetween, and each of the electrode units includes a pair of electrode patterns electrically insulated from each other and arranged to be interdigitated with each other. Meanwhile, the present invention claims a piezoelectric power generation apparatus, but may also be used as an actuator according to embodiments.
