Abstract:
A crystal oscillator 1 comprises a crystal oscillator element, a substrate 30 having a main surface 32a to which the crystal oscillator element is mounted with a conductive holding member therebetween, and a lid member that is joined to the substrate 30 so as to form a sealed space S for sealing the crystal oscillator element. The substrate 30 includes: connection electrodes 35a, 35b that are provided to the main surface 32a and supply voltage to the crystal oscillator element; an insulating frame 33 that is provided surrounding the crystal oscillator element in a planar view of the main surface 32a and so as to cover part of the connection electrodes 35a, 35b; and sealing electrodes 36a, 36b provided so as to cover joint sections 50a, 50b of the insulating frame 33 and the connection electrodes 35a, 35b in a planar view of the main surface 32a.
