Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a piezoelectric pump which has a further increased discharge flow rate.
[Solution] This piezoelectric pump has a pump chamber (1) provided with a piezoelectric element (11) and also has a fluid suction section (21) and a fluid discharge section (22), which connect to the pump chamber (1). A valve (31) and a valve (32), the valves (31, 32) being plate shaped and each having affixed one end, are respectively provided to the fluid suction section (21) and the fluid discharge section (22). The piezoelectric pump is characterized in that the valve (31) and the valve (32) respectively have cutouts (30). As a result of this configuration, even if the drive frequency of a vibration plate is increased, the valves have good following characteristics and the piezoelectric pump has a further increased discharge flow rate.
