Abstract:
A pile fabric which has a fine appearance and soft texture and, despite this, is excellent
in suitability for loosening and raising and which has an appearance and texture
similar to those of natural chinchilla. The pile part of the pile fabric is constituted
of acrylic fibers which have an acrylonitrile content of 40 wt.% or higher and
comprise a blend of: 30-80 wt.% fibers of 3-6 dtex which have a flat cross-section
with an aspect ratio of 5-15; and 20-70 wt.% fibers of 1-4 dtex which have an elliptic
cross-section with an aspect ratio of 4-6.
