Abstract:
A pipe joint requiring no particular work for connection, excellent in resistance to heat, and ensuring sufficient airtightness. Steps of connection are such that a clamping member is unmovably fixed to a stainless steel pipe (13, 14) (pipe to be connected), a cut end of the stainless steel pipe (13 or 14) is arranged opposite to a second joint member (19) fitted into a first joint member (18); and, when the clamping member is fixed to a flange part (18c) of the first joint (18), the forward end of an annular projection (19b) of the second joint member (19) is joined to the cut end surface of the stainless steel pipe (13 or 14) in a state of linear contact.
