Abstract:
A pivot shaft structure for scissors is configured so as to prevent, during the opening and closing operation of the scissors, one blade body from tilting relative to the other blade body to cause the blade bodies to separate from each other. Specifically, while a head (31a) is in contact with a movable blade (22), one end of a coiled spring (27) is in contact with a head (23a) and the other end thereof is in contact with the bottom of a counterbore (24), so that the pressing force of the coiled spring (27) causes a stationary blade (21) to be in close contact with the movable blade (22). A tapered surface (23c) which presses and expands the one end side of the coiled spring (27) toward the outside in the radial direction of a pivot shaft (23) is formed on the side of the head (23a) which faces the stationary blade (21).
