Abstract:
Provided is a pixel unit, comprising: a photodiode for generating photogenerated electrons; a pass transistor (202) for controlling the transport of photogenerated electrons; and a floating diffusion (205) for storing photogenerated electrons, wherein the photodiode is connected to the floating diffusion by means of the pass transistor, and one end of the floating diffusion is connected to a variable voltage. The voltage on the floating diffusion is controlled; when the light intensity is relatively high, a high voltage is applied to the floating diffusion to increase the full well capacity of the floating diffusion, so as to increase the dynamic range of an image sensor; and accordingly, when the light intensity is relatively low, a low voltage is applied to the floating diffusion to reduce the full well capacity of the floating diffusion, thereby preventing power waste.
