Abstract:
The problem of the present disclosure is to make it possible to propose an improved placement of components. This placement assistance method of the present disclosure has an acquisition step, and a proposal step. A component-mounting system (100) is a system for generating a product (P3) by mounting a plurality of components (P1) supplied to a plurality of supply units (3) on an object (P2). The acquisition step is a step for acquiring mounting data (D1) relating to the plurality of components (P1) included in the product (P3). The proposal step is a step for proposing placement of the plurality of components (P1) with respect to the plurality of supply units (3) from the mounting data (D1) so that the mounting time needed to generate the product (P3) with the component-mounting system (100) is made shorter using a learned model. The learned model is the model generated associated with features of at least one supply unit (3) among the plurality of supply units (3).
